Federal Budget 2022–2023 I Tuesday 25 October 

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has handed down the Labor Government’s first Budget on 25 October, outlining a range of key measures that members need to know. 

Against a backdrop of a $36.9 billion deficit, multinationals are at the front line when it comes to increasing tax revenue as well as an extra funding boost to the ATO Tax Avoidance Taskforce. 

As a continuation of our presence at the Jobs and Skills Summit, CA ANZ was invited to the Budget lock-up in Canberra and has analysed the major tax and superannuation announcements for businesses and clients.
