    The Essential Update covers the latest legislative and regulatory developments, case law, rulings and other ATO publications and announcements.

    Recommended training time:

    • Monthly session: 1 - 1.5 hours
    • Bi-monthly session: 1.5 - 2 hours
    • Quarterly session: 2 hours

    Foundation Topics – Tax & SMSFs

    The Foundation Topics provide your new recruits, or those seeking a refresher, with an understanding of the Australian tax and superannuation fundamentals.

    Recommended training time:

    • 1 hour per topic
  • Intermediate to Advanced

    Special Topics – Tax & SMSFs

    The Special Topics cover a wide range of trending topics in tax and superannuation.

    Theory/Technical Session: Aimed at an intermediate level, the Theory/Technical sessions provide an in-depth theoretical examination of a topic. They include short examples that demonstrate key principles of the topic area.

    Case Study Session: Aimed at a more advanced level, the Case Study sessions analyse realistic client scenarios to provide attendees with a practical understanding of a particular topic.

    Integrated: Aimed at a more advanced level, and is a blended approach to a topic with a mixture of both case studies and theory.
