CA Essentials helps you revisit critical concepts, strengthen your foundational knowledge and feel more prepared before your CA Program subject begins.

Delivered as a one day weekend workshop immediately before your subject commences, CA Essentials gives you focused support at the right time in your study journey.

During the interactive workshop, you will work through mini scenarios, multiple choice questions and practical activities designed to refresh your understanding of key concepts.

CA Essentials is currently available to candidates enrolled in Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Tax (TAX) across Australia and New Zealand.

FAR:

During this CA Essentials workshop you will focus on the fundamentals of financial statement preparation, practical application of common accounting standards, and presentation of consolidated financial statements.

After attending the workshop and completing the workshop activities, you will be prepared to begin the CA Program FAR subject, and understand regulatory and ethical requirements to account for and report on a diverse range of business transactions and events.

The next CA Essentials workshop for FAR will be available in Term 1 2027.
