CA Essentials is offered as a one-day workshop (6 hours) on the weekend immediately prior to a subject's commencement date.

Join an interactive workshop where you will be presented with mini scenarios, multiple choice questions and activities providing the opportunity for you to refresh your knowledge of critical concepts.

CA Essentials is currently available to any candidate enrolled in Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Tax (TAX) across Australia and New Zealand.

FAR:

During this CA Essentials workshop you will focus on the fundamentals of financial statement preparation, practical application of common accounting standards, and presentation of consolidated financial statements. After attending the workshop and completing the workshop activities, you will be prepared to begin the CA Program FAR subject, and understand regulatory and ethical requirements to account for and report on a diverse range of business transactions and events.

The next CA Essentials workshop for FAR will be available in Term 3 2026.
