    • membership certificate
    • examination results/mark sheets

  • documents in languages other than English must be accompanied by an English translation completed by a certified translator. You must include the original language document and the translated document with your application.

Chinese degree verification

CA ANZ requires all applicants who hold a qualification from an Institution in China to have their degree certificate and academic transcript verified through an authorised Chinese qualification verification service, accompanied by an official English translation. If exemptions were granted based on diploma qualification, degree certificate and academic transcript from the institution at which study was completed that led to those exemptions are also required to be verified and translated.

All verification reports must be sent directly to CA ANZ from the verification body and must include a copy of the documents that have been verified.

We currently recommend VETASSESS to provide this service.

Applicants should consider the verification processing times and ensure they allocate sufficient time for verification to be completed.

Preparing your documents

Original documents should be scanned in high quality colour in accordance with the following instructions:

  • Scan and save the original colour of each document (both sides) into a PDF format. A high-quality scan should be clear, legible, and free from poor contrast, shadow, obstruction with no cropping or pixilation. Before scanning, please ensure the scanner is set to a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch) to avoid low resolution scanning.
  • Encrypted PDFs cannot be accepted.
  • Ensure your PDF files are not password protected or read only.
  • Email submission size cannot exceed 20MB in total.
  • We do not accept files that have been compressed.

If your documents are in black and white, you are required to provide certified true copies.

CA ANZ will refuse to assess applications if suspected false and/or non-authentic information or documentation is provided. CA ANZ will issue a negative outcome letter to applicant confirming that: ‘Based on the documentation submitted, CA ANZ is unable to confirm authenticity and therefore the outcome of the assessment is negative’. Suspected falsification will be notified to the Department of Home Affairs and other accounting assessing authorities.
