Important notes

  • Unofficial academic transcripts are not accepted.
  • If you received exemptions, include transcripts from the institution where you completed the subject.
  • If you do not have course outlines, contact your university to request them.
  • Online course info is acceptable – include the webpage URL on printed materials.
  • If there are differences between your transcript and syllabus, ask your university to confirm the syllabus applies to your study period.
  • Non-English syllabuses must include a certified translation. We only require an official translation of the subject content from the academic transcript that corresponds to our required competency areas. There is no need to translate the entire syllabus.

If you cannot provide the official syllabus or course description

You may submit a Statutory Declaration or Affidavit. It must:

  • explain why the official syllabus is unavailable

In Australia: refer to the list of authorised witnesses.
Outside Australia: contact an Australian Embassy or follow your country’s legal standards.

Chinese degree verification (if applicable)

For qualifications from Chinese institutions, use an official, authorised Chinese qualification verification service to confirm degree awards and academic transcripts, including an official English translation of the validation.

If you have a diploma qualification contributing to your bachelor's degree, provide verification and translations of degree awards and academic transcripts.

Consider using VETASSESS for this service and plan according to their processing time.
