Step 1: Create or log in to your account

New users: visit the Migration Skills Assessment online portal and create an account

Existing users: log in using the same email address associated with your CA ANZ account. 

You can also access the portal via the CA Member Portal - Click on ‘My Membership’ > ‘Applications’ > ‘New Application’ > ‘Migration Skills Assessment.’ 

Step 2: Appointing a migration agent (optional)

  • You may choose to appoint a Migration Agent to manage your application.
  • To do this, complete the CA ANZ Third-party Authorisation Form.
  • The Migration Agent will attach this form to your online application to be officially linked to it. 
  • Migration agents can manage their client's skills assessment applications directly through their own CA ANZ accounts.

Step 3: Submit your application 

  • Follow the prompts in the portal to complete your application.
  • If you need help during the application process, check the ‘Help’ tab in the online portal for guidance and support. You can also refer to our Migration Skills Assessment FAQs. They explain the assessment process and how to use the Migration Online Portal.
  • Upload all required documents in each section of your application. Missing or incorrect files may delay processing or affect your assessment outcome.
  • Pay the fee.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with your CA ANZ application number. This number is used as reference for the Department of Home Affairs.
  • Track your application status online. 

What happens next? 

  • We will review your application within 10 business days to check if it is complete. 
  • If documents are missing or more information is needed, we will contact you by email.
  • Once all required documents and information are received, your application will move to the assessment stage.
