Affiliate membership is intended for principals or partners in Australian Chartered Accounting firms who do not hold CA ANZ membership. This includes those working in firms that use the “Chartered Accountants” designation or Practice Entity members of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).

Affiliate membership is linked to your current role in the practice. If you leave the firm, your membership will end.

As an affiliate member, you cannot hold a Certificate of Public Practice (CPP).

No more than 50% of voting principals in your firm may be affiliate members.

Optional: Practice Entity membership

Firms in Australia may also apply for Practice Entity membership, which offers additional risk management benefits.
