Let your designation shine on social media

There are many easy and safe ways that CAs, ATs, and ACAs can publicly share their success and pride in their designation using social media.

Achieving the CA designation is an achievement that rightfully brings great pride. It remains one of the most highly regarded professional accounting qualifications in the world and CA ANZ members should have the confidence to be able to publicly share their success.

While some are wary of social media’s potential pitfalls, there are many easy and safe ways to use it to share your experiences as a Chartered Accountant, Accounting Technician, or Associate Chartered Accountant.

There are also a number of occasions each year that allow members to get together either in person or digitally to celebrate the difference they make to businesses and communities the world over. Some of these occasions are listed below.

Here are some easy ways you can tell the world how proud you are of your designation:

LinkedIn

  • Include your designation on your LinkedIn profile name so that your professional qualifications are always on display. Your designation should appear at the end of your name without a comma e.g. Alex Smith CA
  • List Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand as your school in the education section.
  • Follow Chartered Accountants, Acuity, and our Chartered Accountants ANZ Events LinkedIn pages to stay up to date on news and advocacy that supports our members.
  • Individuals, and practices or companies can share Chartered Accountants ANZ and Acuity posts with your networks along with your thoughts or insights on the article or news,
  • RSVP to events and invite your colleagues to be able to share thoughts and insights on the industry as news and innovations develop.

Facebook

  • Add a temporary ‘profile frame’ to your profile photo to celebrate your designation, or to mark special occasions and events. Search CAANZ to discover available Facebook profile frames.
  • Join your CA ANZ regional members group and add to the conversations.
  • Follow the Chartered Accountants and Acuity Facebook pages to stay up to date on news and advocacy that supports our members.
  • Individuals, and practices or companies can share Chartered Accountants ANZ and Acuity posts with your networks along with your thoughts or insights on the article or news,
  • RSVP to events and invite your colleagues to stay up to date with the presenters and the topics to be discussed.

Instagram

  • Celebrate in your Instagram stories by adding Chartered Accountants ANZ stickers to your photos and videos. Search CAANZ in the GIF stickers to discover the available options.
  • Follow Chartered Accountants ANZ Instagram profile to be inspired by news and events from CA ANZ.
  • Individuals and practices or companies can comment on and regram or repost Chartered Accountants ANZ posts to their profiles or share to their stories to connect with their networks.

Twitter

  • Follow Chartered Accountants and Acuity Twitter profiles to stay up to date on news and advocacy that supports our members.
  • Individuals and practices or companies can retweet Chartered Accountants ANZ and Acuity tweets to your networks along with your thoughts or insights on the article or news piece.
