Giving members a voice
To ensure we stay abreast of evolving member needs, we introduced the Member Insights Panel. Launched in November 2018, this ongoing research initiative gives our members an opportunity to provide feedback on the issues that matter to them, with the resulting insights allowing us to better support our members well into the future.
The panel comprises over 5,000 CA ANZ members that have provided feedback on:
- New CA ANZ education model that will deliver more relevant CPD offerings for members in future,
- advising on the opportunities and challenges of technological innovation in the industry and the impact this will have on members, and
- advising on the expected impacts of the AASBs proposed changes to financial reporting
All CA ANZ members are eligible to join the Member Insights Panel. As a panelist you will be able to share your views on key issues for future CA ANZ initiatives.

Why should I join?
Ease of participation
If you join, the demands on your time will be minimal, we’ll invite you to complete no more than two 5-10 minute surveys a month about your needs/opinions on topical issues.

The feedback we receive from the Member Insights Panel provides us with an invaluable member perspective to guide our decision-making at CA ANZ. Our members are a diverse bunch – so if you want us to consider your views when making decisions, it’s essential that you share your feedback with us.
On top of this, for each survey that you complete you will be automatically entered into our exclusive monthly prize draw, with a chance of winning one of ten $100 cash cards every month.

What is the Member Insights Panel?
The Member Insights Panel is an opportunity for CA ANZ members to provide feedback on a wide range of issues and initiatives relevant to Chartered Accountants. The panel will be actively managed to ensure panellists are representative of the diversity found in the CA ANZ membership.
Why join the Member Insights Panel?
Participation in the panel will allow members to share their views, have their voices heard and provide deeper insights into the challenges Chartered Accountants face. Thereby allowing members to help shape CA ANZ decisions, with the resulting insights allowing CA ANZ to better support members.
What can I expect as a member of the Member Insights Panel?
Taking part in the initiative is fast and easy. We will send you no more than 2 surveys a month, each taking approximately 5 -10 minutes to complete. Completing each survey is optional and not mandatory.
How can I join the Member Insights Panel?
To join, you must be a full or provisional CA ANZ member. You can join the initiative by clicking here. You will be asked to complete a short registration process.

Are there rewards for completing a survey?
Yes, survey participants will automatically go into our monthly prize draw. One completed survey is equal to one chance to win in our monthly prize draw. Only completed surveys entries will be eligible for the monthly prize draw. Members can complete each survey only once.

Can I complete the same survey more than once?
No. You will be emailed a unique link to complete each survey to participate in.
Can I get someone else to complete the survey on my behalf?
No. We expect only members that have opted-in to be part of the Member Insights Panel will complete these surveys.
How often will I be invited to participate in a survey?
You can expect to receive 1-2 surveys per month. Each survey is designed to be relevant to you (e.g. your area of expertise, your location and/or your industry). Completing surveys is optional and not mandatory.
Will my survey feedback be anonymous?
Yes, all survey data will be presented in an aggregated form so you won't be identified individually from other survey respondents. CA ANZ will strictly adhere to data privacy and security laws. CA ANZ and Qualtrics (survey software provider) will at no time pass your personal data to anyone, without your permission.
What are the minimum computer operating system requirements to complete our surveys?
All surveys must be completed online. We expect survey respondents to be using a modern web browser, computer operating system, and an Internet connection.

When I submit the survey it says it has been completed already?
Please remember that your unique link can only be used once (even if you email the link to a friend, it is still only valid for one use). If your survey has not yet been completed then try exiting out of the survey page and clicking on the link again. If you still have any trouble please, contact our team, on firstname.lastname@example.org.
I want to change some of my answers but the survey says it has been completed already?
Please note that once you have submitted your answers you cannot go back and change them. Please be careful when selecting your answers.
