This Survey is conducted by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand ABN 50 084 642 571, including its subsidiaries and controlled entities (CA ANZ or We or Our).

By proceeding with and submitting this Survey, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Collection Statement and the CA ANZ Privacy Policy (available at https://www.charteredaccountantsanz.com/privacy-policy), and you consent to CA ANZ collecting, holding, using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with these documents.

CA ANZ may collect personal information about you in connection with this Survey, including information you provide in your Survey responses and information already held by CA ANZ about you (such as your name, contact details, country of residence, job title and practice type).

We collect, use and disclose your personal information to:

• analyse and collate Survey responses to understand feedback on CA ANZ’s products and services;
• identify themes, trends and insights to support internal reporting, planning and decision‑making; and
• administer your participation in any competition conducted in connection with the Survey.

Survey results are generally analysed and reported in an aggregated and de‑identified manner. Individuals are not identified in published survey reporting.

CA ANZ may use third‑party survey and analytics platforms (such as Qualtrics) and automated analytics or AI‑enabled tools to assist with analysing survey responses and generating aggregated insights, summaries and reports.

Data used for AI‑enabled analysis may process any personal information that you provide in your Survey response but is generally anonymised and aggregated before being processed.  In addition, no data input into AI enabled tools is used to train AI or machine‑learning models.

We may disclose your personal information to our agents, contractors and service providers (such as Qualtrics), where we outsource functions to third parties.

Participation in the Survey is voluntary. However, if you do not provide your information, CA ANZ may be unable to include your response in Survey analysis or administer your participation in a related competition.

We are permitted to process your information for the purposes described above, by relying on the following lawful grounds: the processing is necessary for our legitimate interests to evaluate, develop or improve our products and services. We generally rely on your specific consent to process special categories of personal data (i.e., ‘sensitive information’). However, in some cases, we may need to use some of that information to comply with our legal obligations. We otherwise use, disclose, process and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Where you have consented to our processing of such information (including any special categories of personal data), you may withdraw such consent at any time, by contacting us using the contact details in our Privacy Policy. Please note, however, that in certain circumstances it may still be lawful for us to continue processing this information even where consent has been withdrawn, if one of the other legal bases described above is applicable.

Personal information collected in connection with this Survey is generally stored and processed in Australia or New Zealand. In some circumstances, it may be disclosed to overseas recipients in accordance with the CA ANZ Privacy Policy.
