Turn your ACCA qualification into a CA advantage

Build on your ACCA qualification with CA ANZ membership, opening doors to recognition, opportunity, and professional standing in Australia and New Zealand.

If you’re a full member of ACCA who qualified through the standard exam pathway, have maintained your membership for at least five years, and currently live in Australia or New Zealand, you may be eligible to apply for the CA ANZ membership.

This pathway is designed to recognise your experience and give you the benefits of full CA ANZ membership, including  career opportunities, professional recognition, and access to a trusted trans-Tasman network.

Who this applies to

This pathway is for ACCA members who:

  • hold full membership gained through the standard ACCA exam route
  • have at least five years of post-membership experience
  • are in good standing and compliant with CPD requirements
  • currently reside in Australia or New Zealand.

Your step-by-step application process

  • a Letter of Good Standing from ACCA (dated within 3 months) confirming:
    • current full membership in good standing
    • date of admission and membership number
    • membership gained via the standard exam pathway
    • CPD compliance and no disciplinary record
  • proof of identity: passport, driver’s licence, or equivalent.
  • evidence of 5 years’ post-membership experience (CV, resume, or employment history).
  • two CA references from CA ANZ members or full members of a GAA body that we hold a reciprocal arrangement with (each with at least 3 years’ standing).
  • for applicants in New Zealand: A Ministry of Justice report (dated within 6 months) and, if applicable, police reports for any countries where you lived 12+ months in the last 10 years.

Step 2: Apply for Special Admission
