Support for candidates finding it hard to progress with their studies
CA Program candidates who are identified by CA ANZ as ‘at risk’ of not making satisfactory course progress as outlined in the CA Program’s Candidate Course Progression and Support Policy, may be offered academic support as well as wellbeing and emotional support in various forms.
This support is targeted to each candidate’s individual needs and may include self-paced learning activities, one-to-one support and wellbeing support. This support seeks to enable candidates to:
- build effective study skills and develop communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills,
- understand how to identify and address knowledge gaps and make the most of their interactive subject learning resources and the CA Program’s study tools, tips and other resources,
- understand how to prepare for assessments or end of term exams; and/or
- review and revisit difficult topics in their subject and practice questions and answers to prepare for assessments
