Message from Jayson Poulton, RoW Councillor
Welcome to our first update for 2021, a year which has started with a presidential inauguration, bringing a new era in politics for at least the next four years and renewed optimism as the vaccine roll-out commenced. The battle against COVID-19 is far from over and we will continue to support our members through our COVID-19 Resource Hub and MyCA COVID-19 Groups.
Peter Rupp FCA concluded his year as President on 31 December. In his final message, Peter reflected on the year of challenges, at the same time recognised it as ‘our finest hour’ as a profession, being in a unique position to support clients and the community through both the bushfires and the pandemic. We welcome our new President Dr Nives Botica Redmayne FCA and new office holders for 2021.
As schools begin to reopen with more regularity, the year will see many of us return to the office, while others will maintain the flexibility of remote working which organisations are embracing. We look forward to supporting you virtually and face-to-face through the year ahead.

A new CAW Network USA offering
CAW Network USA has recently launched a Comprehensive Online IQEX Preparation Course to assist members to take the IQEX exam. Home institutes that have mutual recognition agreements in place with NASBA / AICPA can use this course to prepare for the exam.
