What is a digital badge?
A digital badge is a verified online credential that recognises your CA ANZ designation or other achievements, such as a specialisation or certificate. It provides a secure and shareable way to showcase your professional achievement online.

Who is eligible to receive a digital badge?
Digital badges will be available to:
- Members holding a CA ANZ designation, including CA, ACA, AT, FCA, FACA and AT Fellow.
- Members holding a CA ANZ specialisation in Business Valuation, Financial Planning & Advice, Forensic Accounting, Risk or SMSF.
- Participants who have completed a CA ANZ certificate in AI fluency, climate-related disclosures, data analytics, finance business partnering or sustainability reporting.

When will I receive my membership or specialisation badge?
Badges will be rolled out progressively throughout October with membership being launched first followed by specialisations in early November to manage delivery, member support and enable a seamless member experience. Members who become eligible after the initial rollout will receive their badge within 24 hours.

You will receive an email from [email protected] with instructions to create an Accredible account to access and share your badge.

What is Accredible?
Accredible is the digital credential platform used by CA ANZ to issue, manage and verify digital badges securely.

Do I need to pay for my badge?
No. Digital badges are provided to eligible candidates at no additional cost.

Where can I share my badge?
You can share your badge in professional and digital settings, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, X or WhatsApp, your CV, email signature, website or portfolio. When shared, the badge should link to the credential page so others can verify it and view the badge details.

What information is shown on my badge?
Your badge will display information relating to the credential it represents, such as your designation, specialisation or educational achievement. Additional details can be viewed on the credential page.

Can I choose not to use my badge?
Yes. You are not required to display or share it and can simply choose not to use it. If you do not want any of your data stored with Accredible, please contact the
CA ANZ Member Services Team and they will revoke the badge which will result in your data being deleted from Accredible.

Does my digital badge replace my certificate?
No. Digital badges are an additional way to recognise and showcase your achievement. They do not replace any existing certificates or membership documentation. Unlike a traditional physical certificate, it contains embedded information that helps you, your peers and employers verify your credential.

What happens if my designation changes?
Your badge will update to reflect your current eligible designation. If your designation changes, you will no longer have access to the badge of your previous credential.

Can I receive more than one badge?
Yes. Members who hold more than one certificate or eligible credential may receive multiple badges. For example, if you are an eligible CA member and also hold a specialisation, you will receive two separate badges.

What if I have not received my badge?
Check your junk or spam folder for an invitation from
[email protected]. If you still cannot locate your badge or need help with your badge for any reason, contact
CA ANZ Member Services for support.

Does my badge have an expiry date?
Badges do not have an expiry date. However, membership designation badges and specialisation badges require ongoing eligibility. If you no longer meet the requirements for a designation or specialisation, your badge may be revoked.

Why is my badge URL showing a 404 Error page?
If your badge has been revoked, the link to your badge may show a 404 error page. Membership and specialisation badges require ongoing eligibility. If you no longer meet the eligibility requirements, the badge will no longer be available. If you believe that your badge has been revoked in error, please

How is my digital badge protected from being copied or misused?
Your digital badge is linked to a verified credential page, so anyone viewing it can check that it is valid and belongs to you. This helps protect against copying, misuse or false claims.
Digital badge Terms of Use: Your digital badge is issued by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) as a digital representation of your current designation or Specialisation, if eligible. You may use and share the badge only while you remain eligible for, and hold, that credential and only in the form issued by CA ANZ. The badge must not be altered, transferred, assigned, misrepresented or used to suggest a designation, membership status or Specialisation that you do not hold. CA ANZ may update, suspend, revoke, delete or remove the badge if your eligibility changes, the badge was issued in error, the badge is misused, or at your request. If your badge is suspended, revoked, deleted or otherwise ceases to be valid, you must immediately stop using it and remove it from any platform, publication or material where it is displayed. CA ANZ owns all intellectual property rights in the badge. Digital badges are issued, hosted and verified through Accredible, CA ANZ's third-party digital credential platform. Badge details are made available through a unique credential link that enables online viewing and verification. By accessing, viewing, or sharing a digital badge through Accredible, you may also be subject to Accredible's terms of service, privacy settings and platform functionality. CA ANZ remains responsible for determining badge eligibility, issuing and updating badges, and revoking, deleting or removing badges where required to ensure the badge accurately reflects your current designation or Specialisation status. CA ANZ will collect, use and disclose your personal information to administer and manage your digital badge in accordance with the CA ANZ Privacy Policy.
