A joint submission by CA ANZ, CPA Australia, the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand, the Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers, and the Accountants + Tax Agents Institute of New Zealand on the draft accounting curriculum for years 11 - 13. The submission expresses support for the knowledge-rich approach to curriculum design, particularly the inclusion of career pathways, the proposed application of knowledge across three different business contexts, and the early introduction to core accounting concepts. The submission makes a number of recommendations to further strengthen the curriculum.
