Auckland For-Purpose Accounting Special Interest Group
Gain insights and practical tools to support charities and NFPs.
The For-Purpose Accounting SIG supports accountants working in or with charities, not-for-profits, and impact-driven organisations — whether in paid roles, as volunteers, or as advisors.
With five meetings over the year, the sessions are focussed on sector-specific issues including impact reporting, fundraising, contingency planning, insurance, ESG investing, and updates from regulators like the XRB.
Members gain insights into practical tools, ethical leadership, and financial stewardship tailored to the for-purpose context. Virtual access is available for broader engagement.
Topics
We cover topics such as updates and practical tools for the for-purpose and not-for-profit sector, covering accounting standards, fundraising, impact reporting, sustainability, and regulatory changes.
