Life Membership: Celebrating exceptional contributions to the profession
Life Membership is CA ANZ’s highest honour, recognising senior members for outstanding achievements and lasting impact on the profession.
Life Membership is the highest honour bestowed by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). It celebrates senior members of the profession who have made exceptional contributions to the profession and are widely respected by their peers and the broader community.
Awarded rarely, Life Membership acknowledges distinguished members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and service to both the profession over an extended period. Recipients have shown leadership, commitment and a sustained record of excellence throughout their careers.
The CA ANZ Council may grant Life Membership to any full member who meets the criteria. However, this recognition is typically reserved for those in the later stages of their careers. Life Members are exempt from membership fees and retain their status for life. The number of CA ANZ Life Members is limited to forty at any one time.
Life Membership reflects the values and standards of CA ANZ, highlighting the importance of dedication, integrity and service within the accounting profession. It serves as an inspiration for all members, encouraging ongoing commitment to excellence and professional growth.
