“The Achiever Program struck me as a wonderful opportunity to gain insight into the accounting industry. It turned out to be a great program for me.”
What is an internship?
An internship is a short-term work placement that allows students to gain hands-on experience in their field of study. Through the Achiever Program, internships typically last 3 to 12 weeks, during which you’ll:
- Work on real projects alongside experienced professionals
- Learn workplace skills like communication, teamwork, and time management
- Discover what it’s really like to work in accounting
All internships offered through the Achiever Program are paid, with compensation varying by employer.
“Sometimes as students, we’re not actually aware of what exists out there (in the workplace). Once I did my placement, it allowed me to understand what Ii want to do with my career.”
