The Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) Achiever Program, in partnership with Readygrad, connects employers offering paid work experience with penultimate and final year tertiary students pursuing careers in accounting. 

What is the Achiever Program?

The Achiever Program is an opportunity for employers to build an early pipeline of graduate talent by connecting with potential candidates as interns before they complete their studies.

The program is run with Readygrad, a leader in graduate recruitment and intern management. With their expertise, the Achiever Program delivers a tailored process from application to placement, saving you time and resources.

Key dates for employers

• Open to employers in Australia and New Zealand
• There are 2 intakes a year:
  • Winter 2026 intake:
    • Employer registrations: 19 January to End of March 2026
    • Student placement duration: Anytime between end of June to end of August 2026
  • Summer 2026 intake:
    • Employer registrations: Mid July to End of August 2026
    • Student placements duration: Anytime between end of November to end of February 2027

Cost and Duration

The program charges a fee of $990 for the first successful placement and $350 for each additional placement.

Placements run from 3 to 12 weeks.

Selection Process

• Applicant online one-way video interview, assessing key professional skills such as problem solving, motivation and teamwork.
• Students are matched to an organisation based on specified selection criteria.
• Final employer face to face student interviews are conducted to further determine suitability.

When will student applications open?

Student applications open in March 2026 for the Winter intake, and in July 2026 for the Summer intake. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in different stages of the selection process.
