Hello members,

I’m Michael, the Chair of the Victorian Corporate Advisory Panel. Our panel represents corporate sector members and advocates for their interests by engaging with the Victorian Council on various matters.

One of our key initiatives is CA Communities, which brings together members from diverse sectors such as Financial Services, Logistics, Telco, Construction and FMCG. Members from across these sectors collaborate with CA ANZ to create in-house CA Communities. Recently, many corporate members have shown interest in topics like Generative AI and Sustainability. We have delivered sessions to help finance professionals navigate these areas, providing space for discussion and practical takeaways.

With the rapid development of Generative AI tools, I want to highlight The Future of Business Luncheon on 28th November. This event will delve into the transformative role of AI in business and explore practical use cases and tools that could help you in your day-to-day business. These events also offer valuable opportunities to connect with peers who share a passion for the future of our profession.

The Victorian Council also held a 'Connect with Council' session in the CA ANZ Melbourne office, with an invitation open to all Victorian members. You can now read a recap of the topics covered, outcomes, and resources available.
