I’m sure you and your clients have been keeping up to date with the Federal and Victorian State Budgets which were released over the past two weeks. Rob Dennis FCA, Chair of the Victorian Regional Council attended the State Budget Lock in on Tuesday, 5th May and you can find a snapshot of the of the economic and fiscal impacts on the CA ANZ website.  

At a Federal level you can find an analysis by CA ANZs tax and superannuation experts on what the budget means for you, your business and your clients. As this article is being published, CA ANZs tax and superannuation leaders will be hosting a member insight session in Bendigo, Monday,18th May and Melbourne, Tuesday, 19th May. I will look to share key insights from the discussion in the next edition of the newsletter.

I was sad to hear of the recent passing of Ken Gange and recognise his longstanding contribution to the profession. Ken was a member of CA ANZ for 75 years and has had an impact on many across the Victorian community.
