May was a busy month for students across Tasmania, with a series of school expos aimed at providing valuable career insights and opportunities.

In Launceston, CA ANZ attended the Co-Op Schools Expo, which included Launceston Christian School, Launceston Church Grammar School, Scotch Oakburn College, and St Patrick's College. Tasmanian Councillors Naomi Walsh, Dave Kewley, Millicent Young, and two CA ANZ members attended the event, which was well-received by students and their parents.

In Hobart, Elizabeth College hosted an expo for students from Year 9-10 and Year 11-12. CA ANZ's student representative Peter Tran and Robyn Ketchell attended the event, which saw participation from around 1,000 students from Elizabeth College and Hobart City High School – Ogilvie Campus. The event focused on students, with noticeable interest in accounting among Year 11-12 students.

In the evening, Hutchins Boys School and Collegiate Girls School hosted an expo for Year 11-12 students. Despite the cold weather, the event attracted students and parents, who enjoyed hot dogs and hot chocolate while discussing what the accounting profession had to offer. Tasmanian Councillor Sam Naragala, Cherie Atchison, Peter Tran, and Robyn Ketchell attended the event, which saw interest in the profession amongst students.

The following day, Southern Catholic College Careers Expo took place, covering over 20 Catholic schools in Southern Tasmania. The event catered to over 2,000 students, with Tasmanian Councillor Hayden Moore, Peter Tran, and Robyn Ketchell attending. Students arrived in groups throughout the day, allowing for positive interactions and discussions about the accounting profession.
At all four expos, CA ANZ encouraged students to register as student affiliates to stay informed about the organisation, its programs, and the opportunities it brings during their studies and beyond. The school expos across Tasmania were a resounding success, offering students valuable insights into the accounting profession and future careers. CA ANZ's active participation and engagement with students and parents highlighted the organisation's commitment to shaping the future of the profession.
