Further to our member announcement on 24 August 2023, we are pleased to advise that the Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading has formally approved a 12-month extension to our Scheme from 13 July 2024 to 12 July 2025.

This extension ensures CA ANZ public practice members continue to have the benefit of a Scheme until 2025.

We are progressing the application process to re-make our Scheme to July 2030, working closely with the Professional Standards Council to facilitate a smooth approval process under the new Scheme Application Framework. We recently contacted every Australian public practice to seek data to assist with our application.

Having a Scheme is closely aligned to CA ANZ’s object of “prescribing high standards of practice and professional conduct for, and to maintain, the observance of such standards by its members”. We know you value the protection provided by the Scheme and its importance to you. We will keep you updated on the progress of our application during 2024.
