Meet LuCA: Your new AI powered assistant at CA ANZ
We’re excited to introduce you to LuCA, our new AI powered chatbot, making it easier, faster and more intuitive to find the information, tools and support you need on our website.
LuCA helps you “look up CA” and makes complex information feel clear and accessible and points you to the right pages and resources.
Why ‘LuCA’?
The name LuCA is inspired by Luca Pacioli, widely regarded as the father of modern accounting.
Pacioli’s work helped bring order, transparency and trust to accounting.
Pacioli didn’t invent double entry bookkeeping - he explained and standardised it so others could understand and apply it.
His belief that knowledge should be practical, accessible and ethical strongly aligns with CA ANZ’s values of integrity, accountability, collaboration, diversity and growth. That spirit is reflected in LuCA today: a chatbot designed to make information easier to understand, navigate and use.

If LuCA doesn’t have the answer you need, you’ll still be able to access our existing support channels including our helpful member services team.

This initial launch is part of a test-and-learn approach, allowing us to understand how members use LuCA and where it can be made even more helpful.
As more members interact with LuCA, responses will be refined, accuracy improved and we can expand what LuCA can support you with.
LuCA may sometimes not provide the perfect answer but over time, your interactions will help us make LuCA smarter, more useful and more aligned to members’ need.
