CA Pride Committee

At Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), we celebrate the diversity of our members and recognise the valuable role LGBTQIA+ Chartered Accountants play across workplaces, communities and industries.

The CA Pride Member Panel was created to give visibility for LGBTQIA+ members and allies, foster inclusion across the profession, and advise CA ANZ on how to build a culture where everyone belongs.

A new chapter for inclusion

Formed in 2024, the CA Pride Panel is still new, but its purpose is clear. It represents LGBTQIA+ voices, strengthen community connections and champions equity and inclusion across the profession.

Panel members share lived experiences and perspectives of LGBTQIA+ members to help CA ANZ better understand and respond to the issues that matter most.

The panel also highlights the journeys and achievements of LGBTQIA+ Chartered Accountants, ensuring their stories are seen and heard.

Just as importantly, it’s creating spaces where members can connect, learn from each other and feel supported to bring their whole selves to their careers.

Driving real change

Even in its early stages, the panel is already making an impact. Learn more about how the CA Pride Committee driving systemic change.
