Kia Ora,

As I'm sure it was for most, our hearts sunk with the announcement of Level 3 lockdown in Auckland – just when we were getting super excited about bringing our members some fabulous opportunities to connect back in with your fellow CA family in a face to face to setting at our upcoming events!

With that all on track again – please grab the opportunity now to tap into our incredible March line up – kicking off with our awesome inspirational breakfast event next week Tuesday with David Downs. If you're Auckland based, book a table and bring your teams along for a great session.

On behalf of Chartered Accountants ANZ, I would also like to Congratulate all the fabulous Award Winners from the NZ Xero Awards, which was held in Auckland on 12 February, just before lockdown. What a super night of celebration alongside our members!

Our Complimentary Sharing Knowledge sessions are still proving incredibly popular and hitting the mark with relevance to the membership – with last weeks ‘39% tax rate: What this means for members and your clients’ – hitting over registrations. If you want to stay on top of upcoming sessions – Follow the Sharing Knowledge Events Pages on LinkedIn HERE or the CA ANZ Events Page HERE. The next session is 'PBE simple format reporting standards - Recent challenges and the ongoing review' on Friday, 26th February.

Please also take a read on our hub for more info on a great scholarship opportunity. Through partnering with the Ted Delahunty Trust, CA ANZ are offering a $10,000 Award to a CA Provisional Member, residing and working in regional New Zealand.

NZAuASB has also issued a new Agreed Upon Procedures standard under its recently revised standard setting mandate. See HUB for article.

Please remember, if you have any questions regarding your membership, opportunities or just want to touch base and share your thoughts or connect, our local team is always available, so drop us a note on Auckland.events@charteredaccountantsanz.com

Kia Kaha!
Jeanette Ross-Smith, Auckland and Northland Regional Manager
