Chartered Accountants ANZ acknowledges the statement issued by KPMG today in relation to the treatment and handling of whistleblower allegations.

As CA ANZ has confirmed to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services, individuals from KPMG have made self‑disclosures to the independent Professional Conduct Committee and these are being managed through its established processes and By-Laws.

The Professional Conduct Committee's investigations will progress in consideration with investigations by higher order regulators.

The key pillars that underpin trust in our profession are our code of ethics, By-Laws and our professional standards, and any violation of these pillars will be vigorously pursued by CA ANZ.
