Business Summit to focus on “what next” for Hawke’s Bay’s economy
Hawke’s Bay business leaders and experts will gather later this month to provide a wide-ranging update, and “what’s next” for the local economy and its businesses, 15 months after Cyclone Gabrielle hit the province.

Speakers at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand’s Hawke’s Bay Business Summit, to be held on 21 May at the Napier War Memorial Centre, will focus on the challenges modern businesses are facing and how to best prepare to overcome future obstacles.
“COVID-19 and Cyclone Gabrielle represented two very large bumps on the road for local businesses and their communities,” says Neal McDiarmid, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand’s Central North Island Regional Manager.
“The aim of this summit is to provide expert perspective that can help prepare our business leaders for what is next, in terms of both obstacles and opportunities.”

Also included as a keynote speaker is best-selling author and refugee advocate Abbas Nazari.
