Sarah Davidson is a trusted senior leader and adviser with more than 30 years of experience as an advocate. Sarah began her career as a lawyer and in-house legal counsel before moving into roles leading national and global strategy, advocacy and government relations campaigns to create value for members and key stakeholders by shaping and influencing outcomes in the public good.
As Policy, Thought Leadership, Education, Skills and Migration Leader at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), Sarah’s focus is developing and implementing CA ANZ’s policy priorities, advocacy and thought leadership strategy, with input from our more than 140,000 members, advocacy, public and government affairs teams. She also leads CA ANZ’s advocacy on education, skills and migration issues in Australia to build the profession’s talent pipeline, address labour market shortages, and boost workforce productivity.
Sarah is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course, McKinsey & Company Executive Leadership Program, and Stanford University Leading People, Culture and Innovation Program. She is the recipient of a Vincent Fairfax Fellowship for ethics in leadership, holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Administration, and is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.
