About Sarah Davidson

Sarah has over 25 years’ experience working with businesses, government, not-for-profits, universities, think-tanks and professional services firms in Australia and overseas.

Sarah joined Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2015 as Business and Government Affairs Leader. Her current position involves advocacy in the public interest with Federal and State Governments and regulators in Australia on policy issues relevant to members and the profession. She has also previously held the role of Financial Advisory Services Leader across Australia and New Zealand.

Her background includes leadership and advisory roles in policy, strategy, business development, corporate responsibility and ethics, as well as practice as a lawyer and in-house legal counsel in Australia.

Sarah is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Vincent Fairfax Fellow and admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Business Administration.
