About Sarah Davidson

Sarah joined Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2015 as Business and Government Affairs Leader and previously held the position of Financial Advisory Services Leader.

As Australian Government Affairs Leader, Sarah advocates in the public interest with Federal, State and Territory Governments and regulators on a range of policy issues relevant to members and the profession. She also helps lead CA ANZ’s strategic member engagement initiatives to strengthen our brand and influence through bold, visible advocacy and thought leadership.

Sarah has almost 30 years’ experience as a senior leader, adviser and mentor in the areas of policy, strategy, sustainability, business development, corporate responsibility and ethics, working with businesses, government, not-for-profits, universities, think-tanks and professional services organisations in Australia and overseas. She has also practiced as a lawyer and in-house legal counsel in Australia.

Sarah is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Vincent Fairfax Ethics in Leadership Fellow and is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Business Administration.
