About John Cuthbertson FCA
John is responsible for leading the New Zealand tax team and engaging with New Zealand’s Inland Revenue Department, and Treasury, Government and Opposition MPs on tax law reform, policy settings and administration and regularly appears before parliamentary committees. John is a member of the GAA tax workgroup.
John is an experienced taxation specialist and Fellow Chartered Accountant with deep industry knowledge. Prior to joining CA ANZ in July 2017, John was a tax director at PwC New Zealand, servicing a diverse client portfolio from high net worth individuals to multinational corporations. John holds a Certificate of Public Practice and has a Bachelor of Business Studies, a Master of Business Studies (Accountancy) and a post graduate Diploma of Accountancy (Taxation, with Distinction) from Massey University.
