Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), CPA Australia, the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) and the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) together wrote to Senator Jane Hume requesting that the deadline for the consultation on the proposed changes to financial reporting for and auditing of APRA regulated super funds be extended from 13 September 2021 to 31 October 2021.

Treasury had already extended the deadline from 8 September to 13 September.
