Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) has provided feedback to the FMA on a proposed class exemption for entities incorporated in foreign jurisdictions from New Zealand climate reporting duties. Our submission notes that the proposal may result in some reduction in the amount of New Zealand specific information available to primary users, but that we are supportive of formalising the process into a broader class exemption to provide for business certainty.
