CA ANZ is supportive of maintaining flexibility, clarity and certainty in how reporting entities verify identity under the AML/CFT Act. Our submission supports retention of all three IVCOP verification pathways and the current identity document list with clearer guidance. The submission is supportive of sensible updates that enable modern, practical approaches such as video-based verification, while avoiding changes that would add unnecessary complexity or compliance burden.
