Submission on Strengthening protections against unfair contract terms
CA ANZ supports reduction of unfair contract terms in consumer and small business standard form contracts.
On 17 September 2021, CA ANZ provided feedback to Treasury on the Treasury laws amendment (measures for a later sitting) bill 2021: unfair contract terms reforms Review of Unfair Contract Term Protections.
The submission outlines our general comments and support for the exclusion of the upfront contract value thresholds for the definition of a small business contract.
