CA ANZ has provided feedback on the ANAO Draft 2025–26 Annual Audit Work Program, supporting and providing insights into the following proposed performance audits:

• The delivery of digital identity reforms,
• The TPB’s use of data driven risk engines,
• The ATO’s management of compliance in the small business market,
• The ATO’s client identity support centre, and
• The windup of the modernising business registers program.

In addition, CA ANZ suggested additional performance audits covering:

• ATO debt reporting, and
• The process that ASIC uses to allocate costs to various market segments.
