Chartered Accountants ANZ made a submission to the Justice Committee on the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Amendment Bill. We consider the Bill will clarify existing obligations, simplify compliance, and provide relief for businesses. We made some suggestions regarding the wording of a number of specific clauses within the Bill, primarily focused on promoting clarity.
