Submission on AI Action Plan for Australia
CA ANZ supports the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) action plan for all Australians
On 27 November 2020, CA ANZ provided feedback to the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources on An AI Action Plan for all Australians. In our submission we outlined our support for the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) action plan for all Australians and highlighted the Government’s pivotal role in facilitating continued collaboration for a harmonised AI approach in Australia.
It will be important for AI research and development to consider the interrelation (and potential overlap) of existing Australian (and international) standards and regulations in areas such as cyber security and data privacy.
