StatsNZ consulted on the future of New Zealand’s occupation classifications system, and whether to depart from the Australia and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO).

Chartered Accountants ANZ and CPA Australia jointly submitted and indicated our preference for the retention of ANZSCO, with revisions to update it and ensure local concerns are reflected in the joint classification.
