The joint submission sets out the collective views of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Institute of Internal Auditors New Zealand, the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and the Accountants and Tax Agents Institute of New Zealand. We are supportive of the Economic Activity section of the Year 0 to Year 10 draft curriculum and believe the inclusion of this knowledge in the curriculum will help build a foundation of financial capability critical for individual, family, community and national prosperity. The submission outlines some recommendations to further strengthen the Economic Activity section of the curriculum.
