On 1 May, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and CPA Australia jointly responded to Treasury’s consultation on the Payment Times Reporting Act 2020 primary legislation amendments exposure draft.

In our response, we shared feedback in relation to the timing of the independent review of the Act, the continued lack of public awareness of the Act, particularly small to medium sized businesses and other specific drafting references within the Act.
