NZICA Standards – Under Development / Recently Approved

From time to time, the NZ Regulatory Board reviews and updates NZICA ethical and professional standards that apply to all NZ members of CA ANZ.

In Brief

  • Keep up to date with and participate in the NZICA standard setting process.
  • Understand the current status of standards that are under development / review.
  • Understand NZICA’s due process and working procedures for NZICA standards

The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) regulates the conduct of CA ANZ members that reside in New Zealand.  This includes maintaining, monitoring compliance with and enforcing professional and ethical standards as required by the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 1996.

As a result, from time to time, the New Zealand Regulatory Board of NZICA reviews and updates NZICA ethical and professional standards, including the NZICA Code of Ethics, in accordance with its due process and working procedures.
