Risk Specialisation Experienced Pathway – Live Online Course

Follow these steps for Experienced Pathway – For members who have extensive experience in Risk

1. Review requirements

To receive recognition as a CA Risk Specialist through the Experienced Pathway, you must: 

  • be a Chartered Accountant or an Affiliate with at least 4 years of practical Risk experience within the last 10 years, where at least 20% of employment was in risk and an additional 20% is related to the risk management field of work. 
  • successfully complete the online course and assessment through AGSM UNSW within the five years prior to your application for recognition as a Risk Specialist.

4. Online course fees

This 8-week online course will cost AU $2704.00 and NZ $3135.00 (incl GST) for members and AU $3516.00 and NZ $4076.00 (incl GST) for non-members.

The course attracts 40 CPD hours.

6. Upon completion

When you have successfully completed the course and practical experience requirements, you can apply to CA ANZ for formal recognition as a CA Risk Specialist.

Approved applicants will receive:

  • A welcome email from the Assessment Team containing your approval letter and information about your certificate of recognition
  • A welcome email from the Specialisation team with the CA Risk Specialist signature banner (for your promotional use), links to resources and marketing guide
  • your invoice confirming payment for the specialist subscription fee
  • Annual specialisation subscription fee of AUD$328 incl. GST or NZD$374.50 (prorated for the first year).

Applicants who have been declined will not be charged any fees.
