What professional capabilities will you be developing during the CA program?

The professional capabilities are introduced in your first subjects. As you progress, the learning activities and assessment tasks help to develop these further.

Professional capability emphasis by subject

• Introduced: The concept is introduced (beyond the level expected in assumed knowledge). At this level the subject includes content and/or assessments for the concept at a basic level, or in familiar situations.
• Developed: The concept is further developed. Content and/or assessments focus on the application of the concept in new situations.
• Assured: The concept is assured through integration and application to novel and complex situations.

Studying the CA Program, you will be able to develop and practise your Professional capabilities. You can delve into these resources at any time during your CA Program. You may focus on developing one capability that is relevant to your work. Or, to prepare for an assessment task, you may want to brush up on a specific capability.
