CA Program Special Awards

In the CA Program, we pride ourselves on our reputation for rigour in developing technical and professional capabilities, ensuring high calibre candidates who can meet the needs of our changing industry. The CA Program Merits and Awards have been specifically created to recognise and celebrate outstanding candidate performance within the CA Program.
Merit certificates and plaques are awarded for all subjects excluding Ethics and Business, this includes:

To find out more about the grading allocations within the CA Program, refer to the Candidate Assessment and Grading Policy and Procedure.
Please note: Candidates who complete an alternative assessment, as part of their subject completion, are not eligible for a CA Program special award (Top of Subject and Certificate of Merit). In addition, if a candidate is re-attempting the CA Program subject the are not eligible for a CA Program special award.
How to check if I am eligible for a CA Program Special Award?
CA Program publish in the timetable the Results Release date for the subject and the Teaching CAs will release the results to candidates as well as a Subject Results Release Dashboard and within the dashboard they will publish the Pass mark, Top of Subject mark and Merit mark. Also, a range of other measures will be in the dashboard.
By comparing the subject results attained candidates will be able to see if they have achieved a Special Award. Please note that the special award will likely be released to candidates approximately two months after this announcement.
