Harold Victor Quinton FCA annual award - Top of CA Program

Through the generosity of our esteemed member Harold Victor Quinton FCA, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is proud to offer an $5,000 AUD award.

In brief

  • This award will be granted annually to the provisional member who is an Australian citizen who achieves laudable results in the CA Program examinations (or their equivalent). The award recipient would have completed their academic studies in the CA Program in the calendar year.
  • The award will continue to be presented each year for ten years until 2034.

Award Details

This award was created in honour of one of our past members, Harold Victor Quinton, CMG, AME, OBE, FCA. Harold Victor Quinton was a Fellow Chartered Accountant who employed 40 people across offices in Canberra, Moresby and London. He made significant contributions to the profession and his community as a Chairman and Director of many organisations and to the Papua New Guinea government, for which he was recognised with a Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George.

Upon his passing, Harold Victor Quinton bequeathed funds to create this special award to recognise the Australian citizen who achieves the top mark in the Chartered Accountants Program examinations (or equivalent), inspiring them to continue making significant contributions to the community.

Selection Criteria

The Harold Victor Quinton FCA award will be presented to the provisional member who is an Australian citizen who achieves laudable results in the CA Program examinations (or their equivalent) and have completed their CA Program academic studies in the calendar year.

There is no need to apply for this, as it will be presented based on academic achievement.

Key Dates

The award will be issued after the Term 4 conferrals for the year. The recipient will be notified by email.
