Sid is a Managing Director and Partner in the Advisory Services practice of HCVT, a Los Angeles-based public accounting firm which is currently the 31st largest firm in the United States. Sid leads the M&A Advisory team and brings over 18 years of experience advising private equity sponsors and private and publicly held companies on matters pertaining to mergers and acquisitions.
Sid has experience working across a wide range of industries, including consumer, food and beverage, retail, manufacturing, business services, and industrial. He also specialises in advising companies on brand intellectual property matters related to transactions and valuation.
Prior to joining HCVT, Sid served as a director at Houlihan Lokey, a publicly traded global investment bank where he was a member of the Financial and Valuation Advisory practice which provides valuations and transactions advice to its clients. Earlier in his career, Sid held senior roles in corporate finance and advisory with Deloitte and Duff & Phelps, which is now Kroll.
Sid earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Sid is based in Los Angeles and has been appointed by the CA ANZ Council as a ‘Rest of World’ Councillor to represent the voices of our international members and to continue to help strengthen CA ANZ’s international community.
