David is the vice chair of the Tasmanian Regional Council for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. David is a passionate small business accountant and is the managing director and founder of DK Accounting & Advisory. The DKAA team have an unshakable focus on driving positive chance through providing value driven compliance and advisory service in the startup and small business space, with the firm being recently announced as a 2024 Telstra Best of Business Award state finalist in the Building Communities category.
David is proactive in the not-for-profit space, serving as Board Director across a select handful of grassroots Tasmanian organisations. David is the recipient of multiple Tasmanian Young Achievers nominations, and was a Volunteering Tasmania award finalist in 2019, in relation to his contributions to the not-for-profit sector. David has also recently been recognised as the Young Tasmanian Chartered Accountant of the year for 2022. David has an Applied Master of Taxation through UNSW and has recently celebrated his 10 years of membership as a Chartered Accountant. David is also sessional lecturer in accounting, statistics and taxation at the University of Tasmania.
