About Darren Dettling FCA

Darren Dettling FCA is a Director of Bendall & Cant, a long-established Chartered Accountancy practice in Auckland that provides business advisory, tax, and compliance services to medium sized businesses, family wealth clients and trusts. He works closely with business owners, boards, charitable trusts and family groups to support long-term planning and commercial decision-making.

With 20 years of professional experience in public practice, Darren has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including professional services, property, manufacturing, family enterprise and investment sectors. He also acts as Director and Trustee for a number client entities. Darren holds a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accounting. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Member of the Institute of Directors.

He has contributed to the profession through several governance roles within CAANZ and has been a member of the New Zealand Regional Council, supporting the voice and interests of members across the country. Darren also served as both a member and Chair of the CAANZ Trans-Tasman Public Practice Advisory Committee.
