About Sarah Petersen FCA

Sarah Petersen has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and general manager executive roles in telecommunications and international education consultancy, having started her career in public practice at Ernst and Young. 

She is an experienced Non-Executive Director, with governance experience in not-for-profit, government, property and infrastructure investment and operations.

Sarah is currently Chair of Far North Holdings Limited and associated subsidiaries and a member of the Establishment Board for the New Zealand School Property Agency. She has previously been a member of the Ministerial Advisory Group for New Zealand School Property, Chair of Northland Inc, Northland’s economic development agency, Director of Tupu Tonu | Ngāpuhi Investment Fund, and Chair of Make-A-Wish New Zealand. She has experience chairing Audit & Risk Committees for those Boards on which she serves.
