Supporting the profession

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand offers a variety of scholarships to students currently at university or who are committed to the CA Program.

These scholarships offer financial support to candidates to help them succeed in their accounting career.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand offers two scholarships annually to help students of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage complete the CA Program and become a Chartered Accountant.

Craig Norgate New Zealand Memorial Scholarship

Two scholarships to support young Kiwis setting out on their careers as Chartered Accountants, in honour of Craig Norgate who was an inspirational business leader.

Gisborne Region Financial Assistance Fund

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, with the support of Eastland Group, Coates Associates Ltd and Graham & Dobson Ltd have created the Gisborne Region Financial Assistance Fund to provide financial assistance to students interested in a career in accounting. This scholarship opportunity is for Year 13 and tertiary students who want to pursue a career in accounting.

The Ngā Raumanako and Suzanne Spencer Memorial Māori Scholarships

The Ngā Raumanako Māori Scholarship and Suzanne Spencer Memorial Māori Scholarship are offered to Māori tauira studying towards a qualification in accounting, who are in their second or subsequent year of study.

2023 Western Region annual Scholarship Award

This annual scholarship looks to support students studying the CA Program living in Western NSW.

Pacific Scholarships - New Zealand and the Pacific Islands

These two scholarships are for tertiary students of Pacific heritage who are studying and residing in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Country Education Foundation Scholarship

Supporting students in rural and regional Australia.

Ted Delahunty Leadership Award

Through partnering with the Ted Delahunty Trust, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) offers a NZ$10,000 Award to a CA provisional member residing and working in regional New Zealand.

Women in Finance and Economics Scholarship

The Women in Finance and Economics Scholarship aims to support disadvantaged Australian women to complete the CA Program and become a Chartered Accountant. The scholarship will assist with complementary access to all CA Program subjects, the CA Study Masterclass workshops and your annual Provisional Membership, up to a maximum of $10,000.
