Western Australian, Meagan Hamblin CA has won the 2018 CA ANZ President’s Prize

Meagan Hamblin CA, Young Regional Advocate for Western Australia has won the 2018 CA ANZ President’s Prize.

  • Meagan will receive a $1000 donation for a charity of her choice and be featured in Acuity magazine

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) is pleased to announce that Meagan Hamblin CA from Western Australia is the winner of the 2018 CA ANZ President's Prize.

Meagan, who was recognised earlier this month as the Young Regional Advocate for Western Australia serves on a number of panels including the Young CAs Panel (YCA) for Western Australia and the CAs in Business Panel.

CA ANZ President, Jane Stanton FCA thanked Meagan for her outstanding contributions to her profession and her community.

"It is with great pleasure that I announce that Meagan Hamblin has won the 2018 CA ANZ President's Prize," Stanton said.

"As Chartered Accountants, we make a commitment to serve our profession, our colleagues and our community. Meagan represents her profession and herself with integrity and embodies its ethics and values."

"I also want to recognise Meagan for representing Chartered Accountants by being such an exemplary community member and serving in capacities to better the community using her professional skills."

Meagan said she was grateful for being nominated and thanked her colleagues for their support.

“I’m very grateful for the recognition by CA ANZ and nomination from the WA Regional Council. We are extremely lucky in WA to be supported by such amazing CA ANZ staff and have very engaged member panels,” she said. 

“I feel this prize is a recognition of all of our work together over the past couple of years. Our achievements in WA have truly been a team effort.

“I would like to say thank you for the recognition but also acknowledge the contributions made by CA ANZ staff, Young CA panellists and CAs in Business panelist who have worked with me, this prize is theirs too.”

The 2018 CA ANZ President's Prize will be awarded at a ceremony in early 2019.
